Almost 150 people have been stranded on a cruise ship off the coast of Cape Verde in West Africa after a deadly outbreak of hantavirus. Video from on board shows health officials wearing full protective gear leaving the ship.

WHO has identified seven hantavirus cases, including three deaths, on a cruise ship off Cape Verde and suspects limited human-to-human transmission among close contacts. The vessel remains at sea as evacuations and contact tracing continue. Despite concerns, WHO says the overall global risk remains low.
